Introduction to the Arts Festivals 2009.

The chosen similar festival that has been successful in another city is the city of Perth. It is named "Perth International Arts Festival 2009".


A short introduction: Perth International Arts Festival.

The festival started since 1953 and it is still held annually till today. It is the oldest annual international multi-arts festival in the southern hemisphere and it consists of Theatre, Dance, Music, Family Events, Visual Arts, Artistic Talks and Films. It has now grown to have a worldwide reputation, welcomed several of Perth's greatest Artists and attracts more than 300,000 patrons to the events in Perth.
It is a 4 week event from 13th February 2009 to 8th March 2009.


A short introduction: Singapore Arts Festival.

The festival stared since 1977 and it is still held annually till today. It is organised by the National Arts Council to celebrate the local arts activities of Singapore. It last 4 week annually and consists of Dance, Music, Theatre and Visual Arts. They collaborated with regional and international artists to perform in Singapore, to let Singaporeans have an exchange of the Arts.
It is held from 5th May 2009 to 14th June 2009.
